Employment in 2019

2019 is looking to be another prosperous year for the jobs market. Most economists expect the U.S. labor market to continue to tighten with all time unemployment record breaking on the horizon. This is great news for the average job seeker. Historically, this means continued wage increases as well as opportunities to enter into career markets that may not have been available to you in the past.
Now is the time to reevaluate your current career path to explore other paths that may not have been open to you in the past. This is also a fantastic time in U.S. history to take advantage of the higher paying opportunities that are now available. Of course, higher pay isn't everything in life. It is also an opportune time to research careers that may now be available to you that will bring you true happiness in your life. One of the most rewarding feelings in life is to wake up excited to head into work.
ManpowerGroup North America (a global staffing company) recently published their Employment Outlook Survey designed to survey the hiring plans of employers in the U.S. 100 largest metro areas. This report shows that the first quarter of 2019 will have a net employment outlook of 20%, a 1% increase from the first and last quarters of 2018.
As always, there are some factors that can change this positive news. Such as, the Trump administration is still trying to finalize a trade deal with China. But overall, I think 2019 is looking to be another very positive year for the job seeker. I hope you will take full advantage of it and find that happy and lucrative job you've been hoping for.
Jobs that will continue to be high in demand in 2019:
Manufacturing, HVAC technicians, truck drivers, medical technicians, welders, electricians, plumbers, as well as hospitality workers.
